Dr. Justin Mussomeli
Dr. Mussomeli was born and raised in eastern Pennsylvania. He moved to Arizona in 2005 and joined North Valley Neurology and Sleep in 2007. He lives in the Scottsdale area. Personal activities include hiking, swimming and tennis. Hobbies include acrylic painting, piano and appreciation of the performing arts.
Dr. Mussomeli graduated from undergraduate studies with Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude. After medical school he finished his neurology residency at the University of Virginia, then completed additional training with a Neuromuscular/EMG fellowship at The Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Mussomeli is a board certified neurologist with an additional board certification by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine for performing EMG-NCV testing.
Dr. Mussomeli practices as a general neurologist and can assess any neurology concern, such as headache, migraine, back pain and dementia. Due to his additional training in Neuromuscular diseases, he has an active interest in peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy, myasthenia gravis and motor neuron disease.
